The protection of human rights in Iraq remains a critical concern due to decades of conflict, political instability, and social challenges. The United Nations has developed a range of human rights instruments, including treaties, conventions, and monitoring mechanisms, aimed at promoting and safeguarding fundamental rights. This research explores these UN instruments, analyzes their applicability in the Iraqi context, and evaluates their effectiveness in addressing human rights violations, strengthening legal frameworks, and supporting the implementation of international standards within Iraq.
